Saint Trofee is the company from which I continue my activities in refrigeration research and development, after a career of almost 20 years at TNO (The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research.

Energy efficiency in supermarket refrigeration and energy storage in cold stores (using the Night Wind concept) are the fields of expertise which I will further exploit in Saint Trofee, as well as in the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIF/IIR, Paris) as head of section D and president of the subcommission D1 on Refrigerated Display Cabinets.

In the EU research project FRISBEE Saint Trofee is one of the research partners. In this project, the focus of Saint Trofee will be on the development of heat and mass transfer simulation software, that includes phase changes and which will be used among others for the development of superchilling.
