Renewale Cooling Initiative
The term "Renewable Cooling" is used for those forms of active cooling that do not rely on a conversion of fossil energies into cold (which is what electrically driven compression coolers or gas-driven absorption coolers do). Renewable Cooling technologies rely on natural phenomena to create cooling. A number of Renewable Cooling technologies are identified, factsheets on these technologies are presented below.
